What if I have a full-time job? Can I enroll?

Yes! Classes meet twice a week on Friday evenings and Saturday afternoons. You may opt to take this course in-person or online via our Remote classroom setup.

Whenever you miss a class, you can always catch up by watching the recorded classes.

What are my financing options?

In addition to installment plans, we offer different types of financing options so you can concentrate on what really matters – your education. Get in touch with our Admissions team to learn more and find the best fit for you.

How much is the class?

Total cost of the class is $3000. However, we do offer in-house financing that lets you spread out payments over a period of time.

Is there a payment plan?

Yes, NSTAR Technologies payment plans enable you to spread tuition payments over the duration of your course, conveniently divided into two or three installments. This is one of the most popular financing options at NSTAR.

Can I defer my payments till after the class when I get a job?

Yes. One of our Loan providers offers fully deferred payment options to allow you to focus on your education and not make payments until after you finish your training. You can also make interest-only or full payments on your loan while in school. It’s your choice.

Do you help students get a job after class?

We offer job search assistance as part of our training. We assist our students in the following ways

• Guidance with resume creation and preparation
• Job portals strategies – to stand out to recruiters/
• How to properly talk to recruiters
• Interview preparation and simulation exercises (we review potential interview questions and scenarios)

Am I guaranteed to get a job after the training?

We have a good track record of helping our students get into Scrum Master  jobs. 75% of students completing our programs are currently employed as Scrum Masters.

Do you help with interviews?

Yes – We don’t do the actual interviews for you but we cover extensively what you are to expect during interviews and we work toward preparing you so when you have interviews, you are adequately prepared. We go over potential questions and scenarios you are likely going to be asked about.

How much do Scrum Masters make? What is the average\expected starting salary for a Scrum Master job?

According to the Department of Labour, Scrum Masters  make between $90k – $140k in annual salary. Salary range for students who have gone through our program range between $95k – $105k

Will I do well in this class with no I.T experience?

Scrum is technical not an I.T. program even though you will use different technologies and work with tech teams. You don’t require a degree or prior I.T. experience to excel in this training or even in a Scrum Master career, Most of our past students have no experience in Information technology.

Do I need to have a degree in computer science or any I.T fields to do this program or to get a job?

You don’t need a degree in Computer science or I.T. to learn this program or get a job as a Scrum Master

Will I get certified after the program?

We are an authorized post-secondary education provider and hence we give you a certificate on completion of their program. However, you will have to take the professional certification separately. Our training does help you be more prepared for the certification exam and provides you the different options you have. Before the end of our course, the majority of our students have gone on to take the certification exams and have passed.

Which certifications does the training prepare us for?

Most of our students receive their PSM certification before the end of the program.

Do I need to be certified to get a job?

No, you don’t need to be certified to get a job as a Scrum Master. Your interviewers are looking for you to demonstrate skill and proficiency in understanding the Scrum Framework. While, we encourage our students to get the certification, there are numerous Scrum Master Jobs that do not need a certification as a requirement.

Can I pay less than $1500 to start?

Unfortunately, we don’t have the flexibility to offer this at this time. If you can make up the $1,000 before the start of class, we can make it work.
