As part of our training, NSTAR Technologies will also provide its students with job placement assistance. The goal of this is to help our students get a head start on their chosen career paths.

Our first step in the placement assistance program is career training. Our certificate programs are structured to be career-centric, with a focus on skills needed on the job. The modern workforce requires its employees to be more knowledgeable, and we keep this in mind when designing training curriculum for students. Our training program is taught by highly experienced professionals with several years of experience. Our teaching methods are practical and intense to ensure our students are confident and ready to take on any job in their chosen field.

One-on-one Career counseling

We will have one-on-one career counseling sessions with all our students as a way to kick-start their job search process. The goal of this is to determine exactly what the students’ career goals are, determine their areas of strengths, and develop a career search plan that is consistent with their desired career plan. We provide them with the tools to jumpstart their job search process.

Resume Preparation

Nobody can ever underestimate how important it is to have a good resume. First impressions count, and the first impression that a potential employer will have of our students is going to depend on how their resume is presented.

LinkedIn Profile Creation

We help our students build a professional LinkedIn profile to assist in their job search efforts. Again, this is an effort geared towards making sure recruiters and potential employers form the right first impression of our students.

Interview Preparation

As part of our career placement efforts, we try to ensure our students, upon graduating, have mastered the art of interviewing properly. This will greatly enhance their chances of landing their desired job. We conduct several mock interviews where we simulate real-life job interviews. We also try to cover the various stages of interviews during this stage, i.e., face-to-face interviews and phone interviews.

Online Reputation

We provide suggestions to our students on how to ensure their online reputation is not hurting their chances of landing their desired jobs. We also advise them on what steps they need to take to mitigate such situations in the event of any hurtful negatives.

Direct Employer Relationships

NSTAR Technologies will also make efforts to reach out to local employers and form partnerships with the aim of guaranteeing our students, upon graduation, internships, part-time and full-time job placements, and providing them with well-rounded and skilled resources.
