Learning Resource System

At NSTAR Technologies, we believe in providing Database Management Tools adequate learning resources to enhance our students learning experience during the course of their program and even beyond as they transition into their desired careers.

Our learning resource system is a collection of relevant tools and facilities put together with the objective of making accessible to our students the resources required to succeed during their training with NSTAR Technologies and beyond.

Equipped Computer Lab

This laboratory is comprised of 8 laptops loaded with relevant software to provide our students with practical learning opportunities, learning resource area beyond classroom theories. We simulate real world scenarios and the students are equipped with skills relevant to situations they will encounter in a job situation.

On Site Library

Within the lab area, is also an in-house library facility stocked with relevant volumes to serve as resources for the students as they go through their program at NSTAR Technologies.

NSTAR Technologies Blog

This will serve as an information hub, updated regularly with current information about various technology trends, managed database, relevant publications, project highlights and more.

PowerPoint Presentations

All classes are delivered using PowerPoint presentations slides.

Zoom Class Recordings

All classes are recorded using zoom and made available to all the students after class. This serves as a reference material for students as they prepare and work on projects. Students also have access to these recordings even after completion of classes for up to 3 months.

Software

On commencement of class, all students at NSTAR TECHNOLOGIES receive a flash drive that contains all software required for the student’s program. We also include any other relevant materials e.g. videos, e-books etc. to help the student become fully acclimatized and successful during the program and beyond.
